Pricing Sheet

We price our translation by the word. This means you pay for only what is translated, not a per- page charge that can result in higher prices.

The per-word charge is figured by:

• Count the total words by using the “word-count” feature on the toolbar in Microsoft Word.
• Multiply total words by .90. This eliminates the “a”, “and,” and “the” words for which you should not be charged.
• Contact us with that total and we will gladly provide you with a firm bid. Legal documents or documents of a scientific nature, such as a phytosanitary release, are priced higher due to the technicality of the documents.

We charge by the hour for the following:

• Projects requiring specialty set-up work (such as organizational charts). This is in addition to the translating fee.
• Reviewing a document that has been previously translated for possible changes and modification.
• Onsite interpretation and travel.

We will proofread, free of charge, one page of any document to let you know the quality of the current translation system you use. We have returned some with the comment, “Great work. No need for concern.” We have returned more with the correction marks that require no further comment.

Even though our prices are low, there will be those who quote lower prices, just as there are always those in your industry who undersell you.
